USING SKETCHUP IN THE DESIGN PRESENTATION
Design Presentation is the initial stage to Present a Design Proposal to the client. Google sketchup has provided a methodology in creating the documents neede in this initial stage. See the slide below:

Two Storey Residence
Here's is another example on how to start with sketchup.
A Two-Storey residence has been created in sketchup. This is the house design used in one of my Udemy Tutorials entitled "Sketchup for the Design Conceptualization of a House" The process is so simple yet tedious in a sense that the commands are repeating until you will finally finish the design as shown below.

The Process
A Sketch was done, this is the usual practice of an architect. The first thing to do is to analyze the space requirements and distribute them according to function.The plan is arranged with a hand sketch. This will be developed along the way using sketchup. The process begins by scanning the sketch and import the image in sketchup.
The Plan Layout is imported and 3d models can now be created. Plan can be done in sketchup and do the 3d models too. It is more easier to connect the manual sketches to digital sketches. As we develope the entire plan, sketchup has all the capabilities in creating the 3d model in a very simple way similar to sketching.
The walls and other building elements are done in sketchup till the completion of the whole design of the house. The final outcome will be like this:
Perspective views can be saved as a SCENE with the differents syles of presentation as shown below:

After completing the plan layout, 3d models can be created right a way. Using the layout, you can import the sketchup file arrange the layout in such a way that it can show the 4 elevations of the house you are designing. Make sure the camera is in parallel to the projection.
